Umad? You bought a portable device that has no HDMI out. Live with it. Katsu does not have to release anything. Even if it is fake I don't care. The topic is about a Kernel exploit, and every time Katsu's name comes up, there is always somebody crying that he didn't release the HDMI output mod. Here's a idea, maybe this isn't the same Ps Vita, and maybe he can't put the vita together with an HDMI cable sticking out. Honestly, if you want HDMI output so bad, maybe you should open your $200+ portable device, and probe for video signals. Or send your vita in to get a video output mod. Even if he released his mod, you probably wouldn't be able to solder to the points you need too, and you would forget about the mod 100%. The only reason you still bring it up is to discredit Katsu.nazar_ops wrote:Slightly off topic but, Katsu said that he achieved a HDMI mod on the Vita. So why is he still recording videos with his camera? Proves that it is 100% fake. I'm not trying to hate on Katsu, but yeah.
Lol I'm not mad. I'm just saying that it was a lie.dmaskell92 wrote:Umad? You bought a portable device that has no HDMI out. Live with it. Katsu does not have to release anything. Me personally, I have no problem with katsu whatsoever, but he acts more or less like SKFU did, "HEY! LOOK WHAT I HAVE AND YOU DON'T!". If it's not his exploit then why the heck does he even upload it? To feel better about himself? I think so if his video description only says his name and his website without even mentioning anything else at all.dmaskell92 wrote:Umad? You bought a portable device that has no HDMI out. Holy ****, Acid_Snake. When did you become a "Big Beholder"?Acid_Snake wrote:personally I know somewhere between 8 to 10 different kernel exploits, 4 that TN knows (about 1 or two are his) and another 4-6 from ourselves.
From all of our kxploits, TN only knows 1, so that narrows it down to about 5 possible kxploits and katsu knows one. The real question is, which one?
In the past, TN has given several of our exploits (be it usermode, kernelmode or popsmode) to other users without telling us, and this *** me off as it makes us look like dispensable tools.
