Use FTP with File Zilla, you will get max 2MB/sec transfer rateabdou005 wrote:I get the same speedblueheaven wrote:@Freakler Great mod, thanx
Thanx for the explanation
I just tried coppying over approx. 1,5GB and the max speed stays around 500~700KB/s anyone else with better results?
Other settings maybe?. but you should use ftp for maximum sending 100mb
. 1,5gb is very big. the tip use Ftp for sending homebrews, plugins and CTF. Use CMA for Psp games, and PS1

Re: [RELEASE] USBtoFTP Mod for TN-V4+
You guys, don't use ftp for large files. If your connection drops or times out you could run into problems. Also to avoid other problems, don't ftp INSTALL.ZIP's into your exploited game save. While that really shouldn't be an issue why take the risk of corrupting that save which is most precious to launching TN-V. Install unpacked homebrew into the game folder. Even if that gets messed up some how at least your game save is left untouched allowing you to still launch TN-V. I have used ftp to move large files and while its a long wait, it's rather nerve racking because you don't know if your connection will hold up. This one I don't know if its true but when your using ftp don't allow your vita to sleep. Keep tapping that screen. I had one time allowed (buy accident) to let it sleep, and upon tearing open that stupid grey $ony screen I found that my connection was lost. That's my two cents. Good luck!

i use Fillezilla...
Edit:
Btw i know i can use CMA but... moving the file isn't that quick either... Not complaining, just looking for the fastest solution.
Re: [RELEASE] USBtoFTP Mod for TN-V4+
@dboyz: that's why I said I want sure about that point. On 1.81 that was my experience though. Had a similar issue when using adhoc file transfer. I allowed the vita to sleep during long transfer of an iso from psp. As long as I left it alone and allowed the iso to finish transferring everything was ok. But if I woke him up before, the connection would fail. I believe that upon waking the vita during adhoc or wifi connection there is a slight interruption in wireless communication. Maybe sometimes it's ok, maybe sometimes not ok. Maybe $ony has fixed this in later firmwares.

This uses VitaFTP just makes it so it launches if you select USB Connection(renamed to FTP Connection)Some1CP wrote:I have Vita FTP installed here on TN-V6 and I got some questions. What are the benefits of installing this one over it? Is it true that using FTP on the Vita can corrupt the exploited game?
and yes if it crashes before exiting FTP but TBH I have yet to experience a crash by simply using the settings Coldbird posted

Re: [RELEASE] USBtoFTP Mod for TN-V4+
So I had the psp digital comics reader homebrew, and it seemed to worked fine back when I tested it before installing this. Now when I try to open it, it opens up FTP for some odd reason. How in the world would that happen?
Edit: Thanks again Fate, always gives a quick answer to my questions. You rock.

Yeah i've got those settings, i tweaked some more in the options and it hangs around 800 KB/s now, it starts with 800 to 1,5MB/s but then it drops to 800 and stays there.dboyz wrote:I use coldbird settings, I dont really remember, it's like Transfer mode: Active , Transfer type : Binary and Concurrent transfer, set to 1 (no more)blueheaven wrote: Btw i know i can use CMA but... moving the file isn't that quick either... Do you (or someone else) get a steady 2MB/s speed?
