This is an extremely good idea and strongly urge everyone to set this up! If you have problems or screw something up, launch the exploit with right trigger held and it will automatically launch the recovery menu. Then run the program at /yoursavedata/recovery.pbp. It will launch your file browser or whatever eboot you set up allowing you to correct any errors. Hopefully..Total-Noob wrote:Kankertje wrote:I think its because the ms0:/QSP folder is already there after corruption, and when you attempt to install anything, it first renames ms0:/PSP to ms0:/QSP which obviously fails because folder with such name is already there, then put the files in ms0:/QSP , then renames ms0:/QSP to ms0:/PSP which also fails. so it gets installed to ms0:/QSP which you cant accesstinostar91 wrote:So, that game corruption happened to me and after restoring it through CMA I can't install anything, no problem getting to the XMB but nothing shows up, transfered PSP Filer data and it still acts as there is nothing (tried it on another fully formated card and found no problem).
Do you plan any recovery tool for that?
Good thinking! It is actually excatly this problemI suggest you to use the recovery menu to rename this folder (In example use PSPFiler, rename its EBOOT.PBP to RECOVERY.PBP, put it in the savedata folder, then launch it). Good luck

Re: [IMPORTANT] Not to lose the exploit game
The problem for most people is that if the PSP folder gets corrupted you can no longer access the exploit at all ( with no back up )PspJunkie wrote: This is an extremely good idea and strongly urge everyone to set this up! Can be easily solved by having multiple exploits but people generally dont have more than 1

It won't get solved easily if you have multiple exploits because when you corrupt PSP folder all of them are unloadable, not only one.Kankertje wrote:The problem for most people is that if the PSP folder gets corrupted you can no longer access the exploit at all ( with no back up )PspJunkie wrote: This is an extremely good idea and strongly urge everyone to set this up! Re: [IMPORTANT] Not to lose the exploit game
So does this mean that launching a file browser from recovery also won't work because it is running from ms/psp/save data/yourexploit/recovery.pbp because the psp folder is in the path?
Re: [IMPORTANT] Not to lose the exploit game

Re: [IMPORTANT] Not to lose the exploit game
If you will have this bug in order to even get access to the recovery you need to reinstall game from backup and send another save data (with recovery) because everything what was in PSP folder will be in QSP and making it impossible for Vita to load as it isn't where it should be. Restoring the game from backup creates another PSP folder from where you can launch recovery. It is needed because if you won't do it, installing anything would be impossible as it will always try to change PSP to QSP and because that folder already exists it will fail.PspJunkie wrote:So does this mean that launching a file browser from recovery also won't work because it is running from ms/psp/save data/yourexploit/recovery.pbp because the psp folder is in the path?
Long story short, you have to reinstall game and send new savedata.
Re: [IMPORTANT] Not to lose the exploit game
RECOVERY.PBP stays in the save so it shouldn't be affected by the QSP bug
