[IMPORTANT] Not to lose the exploit game

Post by Total-Noob »

Hi guys,
I am so sorry that some of you guys have lost the exploit game by a crash. There's acutually a patch which renames ms0:/PSP to ms0:/QSP to allow you to have access to the ms0:/PSP/GAME folder. Unfornatually if it crashes there, we cannot run the exploit game anymore.

SO, EVERYBODY, PLEASE BACKUP YOUR MEMCARD! AT LEAST THE EXPLOIT GAME.

Hopefully EVERYBODY sees this. My poor friend is broken hearted that his Vita doesn't love him anymore and won't let him boot into the XMB.

Not such an issue, tell him to get it from a PS3 once back on PSN.

So there is no way to redownload101 megamix now?

It was all working but unfortunately that crash meant it no longer runs :(

Not in my download list either :(

If you're below 3.00 you might be able to get a previous exploit game, but the only other solution is to wait for the next PSV update, don't update, wait for 101 megamix to be returned to the PSN store, and then transfer it from the PS3 to your Vita using the OpenCMA trick.

It will be returned to your download list when it's returned to the store, but of course that won't help you if you don't have a PS3 to transfer it, since the Vita won't be able to access your download list without upgrading and thereby patching TN's 3.01 and below kernel exploit.

My question for TN is: When is this patch to change ms0:/PSP to ms0:/QSP running? Constantly? Basically, what situations in particular should we avoid, or when should we most worry about a crash causing this issue?

It gets renamed every time you make a new folder in /PSP/GAME/. This is the only way to bypass :/ Myself I have never run into this problem. I have always told you guys that you should install homebrews with CMA&TN-V's feature to install ;)

OHH, of course. That should have been obvious =)

So then the issue with VitaFTP and this problem is that it is crashing while creating a new folder, but never gets to the point of "finishing" the new folder and therefore TN-V4 doesn't get a chance to rename QSP/GAME as it is supposed to. Thanks for the quick reply, I just wanted to know how paranoid I should be. =) (Vitas seem so delicate, lol)
