Forget about it. Re-applied the patch and it worked; Apparently there was a hotfix to adress the issue after I applied the patch months ago.

Can't access the PSN store on TN-V. It brings up a 80435061 when I try to connect.

Sony released a new PSP firmware (6.61) which is required to access the PSN store.Paradox wrote:Can't access the PSN store on TN-V. It brings up a 80435061 when I try to connect.
PSP CFWs for 6.20, 6.3x or 6.60 (this includes the PS Vita TN-V eCFW, which is based on PSP FW 6.60) are currently unable to access the PSN store.

Same here, 3.18 Vita running TN-V10 via Talkman Tokyo. Vita side has no password set, applying its registry to ePSP with no password as well locks ePSP with password that's impossible to input (four zero bytes according to system.dreg while only digits are allowed for input).PspJunkie wrote:I tried to disable security settings and found it was locked by a password (number). Maybe related to 'apply PS Vita registry' in recovery registry hacks? Had to reset system settings (flash1). No big deal if you've done it a hundred times before but a bug none the less. Happens on both my Vitas. 1.81 mba/eubanix and 3.01 megamix/king of pool. Maybe TN's password # ?
Edit: same bug in TN-V7
It should be possible to hex edit custom password into system.dreg and subsequently change/remove it in XMB using PSP Filer, but any change I make resets ePSP registry to default values.
What can be done other than setting the password on Vita side?

If you wanna mess with system.dreg you'll need to update the sha1 hashes accordingly in system.ireg.Cyber wrote:Same here, 3.18 Vita running TN-V10 via Talkman Tokyo. Okay, using Parse-DREG - PSP Registry Parser 2 tool (that I was kindly pointed to) to fix the checksum I was able to set the password to 0000.
In order to set the password to 0000 one must patch ms0:/flash/registry/system.dreg file as follows:
The first address contains checksum, the second address contains password.
Open system.dreg in PSP Filer, switch to hex mode by pressing [_], scroll to 00003Exx addresses area using analog pad and/or L/R buttons, select the byte with D-pad and change its value (see above) by pressing O, repeat for all remaining bytes. Press Start when done, confirm save. Restart VSH using VSH menu just in case, password is fixed.
This does not remove the password the same way "Restore Default Settings" in XMB does, but this allows you to change the password to any value you want.
If I find out how to remove the password completely, I'll post here.

Hello everyone,
With homebrew installed on Vita TV for TN-V ECF the files for the installed emulators, games or whatever always appear as "Corrupt File" on the "Settings" menu in the "Add-On Data (PSP)" folder for the Vita TV like shown on the picture. Does anyone know if there is any workaround for this so they can appear correctly or a way to hide them?
