The Z wrote:TN owns an exploit, that is not public and therefore not fixed.

It can be used for firmware 2.60 and every firmware below, at least was that the case with previous exploits. If he releases it for 2.60, it can be ported to every firmware below.
If he releases it for 2.12, and its not fixed in 2.60, which is very unlikely - a new firmware doesnt fix a kxploit on its own, it can be ported for 2.60.

Long story short: A private kernel exploit wont be fixed, unless there are massive FW changes. Therefore TNs kxploit can run at the most recent firmware, when he releases it, and every older one.
Is there any news about the progress of Psx sound :D ?

I have very bad news guys. Sony has removed the possiblity to use the extended 32 MB of RAM in 2.60 :( It was a fault to mention the high memory support...I am so sorry.

That brings 1 question, why Sony added it (or made it much easier) when they have already disabled it? Wasn't this for any game or something like that (like they thought that some games will need more memory)?

Sony used to allocate more memory than needed for kermit calls - now they have reduced the memory.
Of course it is still possible to run my TN-V. Is there any reference in my post where I say I cannot run it?
