Re: What psx/eboot converter are you using??
It's a bit of black magic really
For now I've only managed to run Metal slug x with the exact same region, compression, convertor and so on like the guy who initially made it run so .. black magic for now untill I manage to try a good amount of games

I use PSX2PSP 1.4.2. Though I haven't been even attempting to get PSX EBOOTS running on my Vita...waiting for sound. Too bad Coldbird left the scene. Such a shame that he got done like that, and we're paying the price.

I have a program called EBOOT2ISO [v1.1]. Don't recall the results. If I've ever tried it out, it's been awhile, and I don't remember how well it did or didn't work. Also fwiw, PSX2PSP 1.4.2 can extract (maybe convert?) an ISO from an EBOOT. Don't recall ever trying it though. Let me know if you want me to upload one or both of the programs for you.VitaGenic wrote:I've got a couple of psx eboots which i retrieved off my PSP but would like to play them on my PS3.... Almost all of them...on the PSP. Like I said, I haven't tried it out on the Vita. Waiting for sound to be eventually made to work on PSX EBOOTs.Minimur12 wrote:what games have you got to work ???
Btw, does anybody know of a way to get .bin, etc. PSX compatible files into an EBOOT format, for ones that aren't in the POPS database? I have some various mods, and other types of "games" that will play on a PSX when burned to disc (I believe they can be emulated as well), but since they're not in the POPS database of any of the EBOOT conversion programs I've tried, I can't get them to convert to a PSP compatible EBOOT format.
