Is it possible to emulate iOS or android?

thought it would be neat to run some iOS/droid apps on this beauty...

Get a dang android device then. This system is not for apps, its for games. Hence the prices.

If we'll have a kernel exploit, maybe it would be possible.
Now you can run Android in Bochs(or QEMU, i don't remember) running WinXP.
Or try x86 version of Android in Bochs direclty.

To have a different OS we need access to the bootloader, ie: cIPL. Kxploit wouldnt be enough.

why don't you just buy a phone then... :? It will take dang long to build it on a device which is not supposedly used for and initially not supporting iOS or android. Providing that you don't have anything in hand, 3 years? :|

With kernel access and a virtual machine, we can run android (not emulate it since you're not really emulating anything). iOS on the other hand would be a lot harder since it's not as opened as android

It's only emulating x86 android in PSP emu (emulator in emulator, arm emulates mips which emulates x86, lol).
