CFE Not Loading US urbanix... help please

Post by lovely » Thu Oct 04, 2012 9:39 am

Alright, I've looked around in various threads for an answer to this and I know I'm not the only one having this issue. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I have all of CFE stuff in the proper locations, and when I start urbanix I get a white screen, the black screen, then a grey screen with the urbanix logo. Anyone know how to fix this so i get the TN Menu? I've tried putting on Homebrews (PSPFiler, Daedalus) but it still doesn't seem to work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

edit: I have tried holding the start button for the ten seconds and what it does is flash a black screen, then just goes back to the same grey screen with the urbanix icon.

From what i understand after the white flashes and then grey background with urbanix on it thats the tn-menu.... What you will do on your pc is to create a folder first name it PSP (all caps) then inside PSP folder create another one name it GAME (all caps) then on GAME folder paste your homebrew.... Then go back to PSP folder right click then add archive name it PSP.ZIP (all caps) transfer the files to your vita together with the save data exploit

That grey screen with the urbanix is the Loader man

You just haven't added the rest of the files properly

This filepath stuff is really messing with peoples heads....

you need to prepare the INSTALL.ZIP for homebrews with the right file paths and compression (ITS THE SAME PROCESS AS VHBL)

So INSTALL.ZIP (caps are inportant) PSP/GAME/HOMEBREW/EBOOT

if done properly it should be installable in the TN Menu

Is u have TN-A running from urbanix
Just install FTB for Psvita you will find it
on Zload.Net u will pack it like this:

make a folder name PSP inside this folder make a new one and name it GAME inside tbis folder
add FTB folder with eboo.pbp inside,Now go back to the PSP folder right click it (iam using winrar)
And tell winrar u want to pack/compress this folder into a zip file, for the name u will give to the new
zip file will be no longer that 8 characters NO numbers and everything must be in caps example:
FTP.ZIP now go to the folder where u add the urbanix save file and add this new folder into the safe
Folder copy the save using CMA and replace the old one if u did it right once urbanix is launch and
TN-A boot you will see the icon of the homebrew click the icon And TN-A will ask u if u want to unpack
or install this homebrew say yes and installation will start. Finish first part

Now that u have psvita ftp install this are more simple and painfull headache stop.
Launch FTP and u will see some green font saying connecting to your pc of course
Psvita must be connected to your pc to use FTP,now back to the green font,it says
And adress to your right side of the screen is says ftp://->address, open my computer
Iam using my computer folder, in the address bar add the address and press enter then
see FTP working his magic, direct connection into your Psp game Folder no more packing
your homebrews just copy them into your game folder. finish repeat when u going yo as install
Anything new.
