Game Engines for PS Vita Henkaku?

Post by udkultimate »

Hello there, are there any free Game Engines for PS Vita Henkaku. I know that Unity for Playstation Mobile is not supported anymore. So are there any other alternatives?

Does anyone knows if PhyreEngine is compatible with PS Vita Henkaku?

Thanks!

By searching about, I found that Vita Quake Port Supports MOD`s. Is that true? So the way to make mods for VitaQuake is the same as for PC? If so, then we have here a kind of FPS Game Engine for PS Vita if it supports all kinds of mods for quake. I mean, is possible to me create a Total Conversion MOD for Quake and play it on PS Vita with VitaQuake?

Thanks :)

Thanks for the repply bro.

But I talked with the guy who developed VitaQuake and he confirmed to me that YES, VitaQuake supports ALL KINDS of MOD that work with either standard Quake or ProQuake.

So yeah, we have now the Quake Engine ready to create games for PS Vita. And by changing somethings on the VitaQuake Source Code, we can get the vitaQuake automatically launch the Mod I create (Total Conversion MOD), so that it will look as a Standalone Game.

Cheers.

Yeah, I was looking for a native game engine for developing games for PS Vita, however, PhyreEngine seems to be poor documented, and i did not see any good tutorials on how using it for developing games.

On the contrary, Quake Engine has tons of tutorials on how using it, on how to mod it, and you can create even Racing Games using the Quake Engine!!! The programming language QuakeC is based on C, and seems to be easy for learning.

I have seen tutorials on how to import models, animations, custom weapons, programming enemies behaviour, and so on. Because this indeed, Quake Engine for PS Vita is a complete game development suite, and I will begin to study it for creating games for PS Vita.

If I could play Battlefront 2005 HD quality on Vita that would like a dream come true.
