Package Installer on firmware 3.60

I just tried this tutorial, I have a bubble which opens a valid Package Installer, thanks!

However, in a stupid hurry, I forgot to backup the previous "NPXS10031" content... Fortunatly, I can put back the files from any CEX 3.60 PS Vita, right? No unique device encryption, I assume (otherwise, this trick wouldn't work)?

I too forgot to backup "NPXS10031" now I'm worried that having this DEX app on my CEX vita might interfere with future hax/updates/releases. (probably not) But would it be at all possible for someone to be so generous as to up a CEX backup? (preferably from a US console)

Browse to "vs0:app" and backup NPXS10031. Extract the file that you have downloaded and copy the extracted folder in your "/app" folder.

Do i need to replace/add something to already existing files in NPXS10031 folder. Or in first i need to delete original NPXS10031 (with backup) , and then copy that modded NPXS10031 folder into vs0:app?

Just delete the files in there and place the debug ones.

I've got the package installer on my vita but I can't get any .pkg files onto my vita because qcma won't work over usb.

Reboot to undue the changes from VtaRW, You don't even need HENkaku to launch the pkg installer BTW.

For pkg files you have to put them in /documents/PSV packages.

That's where my packages are; if I have one package QCMA says 1 added, when I put three there, QMCA says 3 added (when refreshing database). So that's not the issue. They're straight from PSN using the DRM-free links on Wololo (community links to ares).

I'm pretty sure my issue is that I need a PSN account set up on that VITA (so instead of 'User984' it will connect using the PSN account), I vaguely remember needing that PSN account set up when upgrading it manually to 3.60.

IF that turns out to be the case, someone that lives near a store where they still have VITAs on store displays should do the temporary-escape-IDU-mode and check what PSN account(s) the store is using.

EDIT: I've reset that VITA to factory conditions, then when setting up added a PSN account and used VITA Activator 0.2 to activate it. Then I went through everything again and set up Package Installer. And now it works! It seems there's a bit of an issue with "Offline Mode" so I just disable the network interface on the computer when I use it. Installed two packages and everything went fine.

You should reinstall "CEX to IDU" vpk, maybe you have an option to revert the IDU mode back to CEX.
