Have people tied using OpenCMA instead of QCMA?

I'd suggest another alternative but nah. Don't wanna ruin nice things.

oCMA is just a patched CMA so it doesn't look for updates bruh, It doesn't have the pkg install features of QCMA.

Don't suppose this does any good for the PS TV? Cause I installed this on my ps tv and it opens but it says to connect "vita" to the a PC with a usb cable.

You can TRY (and I do mean this) using a Male-Male usb cable

It's a very weird cable and usually rarely shows up but if you had the time you could see if that would allow any access.

Whenever I try to install my .pkg of Spyro 1 it wont install, fails at expanding package

Do I need to be in idu mode after I've replaced the package installer with the Dex one? I thought the whole point of the DEX version was to not need IDU

The DEX one is to get the real Package Installer.
Theres a modified CEX package installer that requires henkaku to operate if needed.

becuase you say the modified cex version needs henkaku, you make is sound like the real dex package installer will work once installed on cex firmware, without henkaku...
this is right?

- yes, it does, i tested. nitendo's dev apps have dev encryption and so they won't load on no-dev consoles.
nice that sony doesn't do this.
it's very useful :) cool
