Hardware Unknowns

Post by John Dupe » Wed Aug 03, 2016 4:02 am

What do we know (and not know) about the Vita hardware? I'm going to attempt to disassemble Vita Minecraft, so I need to know all this. Is the Cortex A9 customized? What instructions have been added? After all this I'll post the unknown instructions and the ARM instructions I didn't come across. Thanks in advance!

We still don't have a lot of stuff added to that site.

I've even made edits to new error codes I discovered.

That wiki needs some serious help to get more documentation.

You could read the Josh_Axey Hardware Research, it has very interesting information about Vita hardware (As analysis, hardware breakdown(it includes the SoC parts)). I found the download link here(wololo forum) sometime ago (I barely remember, but it was in a post asking for the files).

Anyway, good luck.
