Any private eCFW hacks for 3.57/3.60 in the works?

For some reason PS Vitas in new condition are hard to find these days and cost a lot more than a few years ago. I gambled and got a new PS Vita Slim and it came with 3.57. I was hoping to get a firmware that is TN-V compatible.
I don't know if I should return it. I have the feeling all new Vitas are updated to the point where eCFW is not possible. And I have a hard time getting a used one as there is no guarantee the person has not updated their Vita and besides from my experience used handhelds are usually filthy.

So please anyone can bring some hope to me by whispering that a new eCFW compatible exploit is in the works?

upgrade to 3.60 an install HENkaku. that is the best way or i think
MGS had a exploit available for 3.57 BUT you can't run native using rejuvinate OR HENkaku using 3.57. i personally had a 3.50 and upgraded to 3.60 just to be able to use the new exploit. and honestly i am glad i did. using HENkaku did cause me to lose the epsp exploits(2) i had. Not sad about it at all. i personally enjoy the new way it is much easier and more reliable BUT this is ONLY my personal opinion. i am NOT an expert vita guy. just someone who pops in here and there and loves to make (stupid) little programs/apps for my vita for personal use (nothing worth releasing).

Getting a lower firmware Vita, especially a used one, might be hard. Unless someone who sells, knows about the value of a low version FW, but then he probably charges extra for that.

If you keep the VIta, there is no point in staying on 3.57! The VHBL for 3.57 was terrible, and came with a large game, that you might not even want to play - waste of precious memory card. On 3.60 with HENkaku, you can use any PSP game to create a VHBL bubble that has great performance and compatibility.

Also it is very unlikely, that someone will release a kernel exploit that works for 3.57 but not 3.60.
If the exploid wasnt public yet, sony had almost no chance to fix it in 3.60.

On top of all that, HENkaku is getting better every day. Being part of (or benefiting from) the progress that is made every day, is awesome and exciting!
