Getting a lower firmware Vita, especially a used one, might be hard. Unless someone who sells, knows about the value of a low version FW, but then he probably charges extra for that.
If you keep the VIta, there is no point in staying on 3.57! The VHBL for 3.57 was terrible, and came with a large game, that you might not even want to play - waste of precious memory card. On 3.60 with HENkaku, you can use any PSP game to create a VHBL bubble that has great performance and compatibility.
Also it is very unlikely, that someone will release a kernel exploit that works for 3.57 but not 3.60.
If the exploid wasnt public yet, sony had almost no chance to fix it in 3.60.
On top of all that, HENkaku is getting better every day. Being part of (or benefiting from) the progress that is made every day, is awesome and exciting!
