uncharted wouldn't even be fully playble would it? you need gyroscope, which the controllers can't do and the camera, which vita tv doesn't have

and thank you xfullmetal17. i didn't hotmail to be the reason it didn't work for me. This needs to be put in the instructions that it might not work with hotmail.

also it seems with that latest patches, little big planet vita doesn't work? did anyone try that?

I can't test it myself, but following these two guides: (first this one http://hackinformer.com/PlayStationGuid ... ilhax.html and then this http://hackinformer.com/PlayStationGuid ... ch_v2.html) should work.
thank you! I will try this later

I am. I'm using Gmail via Thunderbird. (Thunderbird to send emails to my Gmail account which is then accessed by the PSTV's mail app) It's the same setup everyone else is reporting success with but for whatever reason the attachments keep showing up with "done" underneath preventing the second part from working.

I have no idea what to do now. I've been trying this for the last two days.

And you are writing the writer.eml file over first correct?

Yeah. Writer.eml seems to be working - up to the actually writing part.

After I send writer.eml it arrives with the image attachment which, when clicked throws up the "Cannot display this image." error message. I immediately force-close the mail app (not clicking the Ok button), restart it and re-enter my mail settings. After this I'm able to dump files without any issues BUT I'm not able to write files which I would really like to use for the whitelist patch.

Is there any other method to overwrite ur0:game/launch/list_launch_vita.dat without using the writer.eml provided for the tutorials?

It might be useful to have an in-depth breakdown of how exactly writer.eml does it's magic.

(updated)
I've just tried it with a completely new PSTV (using Wololo's service) and I'm getting the same exact results - with two different pieces of hardware (both on 3.52).

On the off chance that this is the problem does the email address registered with the mail app have to match the email address associated with your PSN account?

By resetting do you mean completely resetting to factory settings or restarting the system?

If I restart PSTV will hack work?

Thanks for the hack, guys! This is what I wanted my Vita TV to do all along! :D

Anyway, I tried a New Little King's Story (digital, transferred from PS3) and that works just fine. Then I tried Lumines Electronic Symphony (cart), but I wasn't able to do anything after I got to the main menu. :| I know that it eventually got patched, but I'm using TN-V10 cfw, so I'm not sure if there is anything that i can do about it.

I finally managed to get it working and the culprit seems to have been Gmail. I know a lot of others have had success with Gmail so I'm not sure why it was happening (maybe a configuration setting or some kind of anti-spam filter being applied) I have no idea; it was a brand new account created just for this purpose. (In fact I tried several accounts when troubleshooting - all Gmail though) Even with enabling "allow insecure apps" the Mail app has issues with setting up Gmail. I've read dozens of complaints on the official PlayStation forums listing all sorts of different errors.

Anyway what I ended up doing was to run a mail server locally on the LAN and connect to it with the PSTV. It worked the first time. So if anyone is reading this (and their attachments arrive with "done" underneath them (before clicking on it) then this is something that you may want to try.

I'm on a Windows box temporarily so I used hMailServer (https://www.hmailserver.com/) although others may work too. This is just one I can confirm that works for this specific issue.

Really slick what you did with the triggers. Even Dracula X Chronicles is working now - THANK YOU!

One last question (for anyone in the know). Is there a blacklist on the PSTV/Vita that controls what content can be transferred through a PS3 (and where would that list be)? One of my PSP games is no longer available store and while it's downloaded to my PS3 it doesn't show up in the CMA.

Is it going to be fixed to work on new firmware? Doesn't work anymore, couldn't play Online so had to update.
