Re: Regarding PS TV whitelist bypass
I've sent an email with the subject "ur0:game/launch/list_launch_vita.dat" to my address with firefox. I attached the following list_launch_vita.dat:
and renamed it to "#0".
In the PSTV's mail app the attachment does appear with a photo but when selected doesn't show any error. I've closed out and rebuilt the database but as far as I can tell there's no indication it wrote successfully.
Any suggestions?
Also: what is the list that controls which games can be copied over from the PS3?
Code: Select all
format_version:001
list_type:b
LVER00101

When I clicked on it the vita didn't give me an error or confirmation but it did work. You might want to just try a game after doing it.

Yes it does. I took that as a good sign.. unless it's not?Follow wrote:open email on vita again and check if "done" appears on attach.
I've tried several Vita games (Hot Shots Golf, Gravity Rush, Metal Gear Solid HD) and demos (Hot Shots Golf, Golden Abyss, Wipeout..). If there's a free demo that you know of that (previously didn't work) and would confirm it does please let me know and I'll give it a try.Asmith906 wrote:When I clicked on it the vita didn't give me an error or confirmation but it did work. The whitelist has been a pain in the *** from the beginning but I'll be happy again if I can finally play World Invitational on the PSTV!

Re: Regarding PS TV whitelist bypass
I need some help. I got the app.db, did the changes through the DB Browser(I can see the new change category triggers,), and sent it back but it doesn't work. Where does the file go? I sent it to "ur0:shell/db/app.db" and "ur0:shell/db/app.db." and the game still didn't work. Did I mess up somewhere?
The line for the game says gp. Is that correct as the others are listed as gd?

Re: Regarding PS TV whitelist bypass
Hi All,
I might sound stupid, but I want to know how I can click the email link on PSTV to send the app.db.
There is no pointer and using the d-pad I can't move the cursor over the link. Anyone know how to do this on PSTV.
Thx in advance.

Nevermind. I found out myself. Had to press the square button to bring the pointer up.cheeyee09 wrote:Hi All,

Re: Regarding PS TV whitelist bypass
I was able to run Mortal Kombat and Dungeon Hunter cartridges on PSTV without an issue.Follow wrote:cartridges do not work?
And other cartridges are running (before already worked), digital I have not tested.
I'm sorry if that's my mistake, I was hoping to run on TV.
