@glas: The .dats are encrypted and are checked/decrypted before doing anything with them. Simply making a .dat in plaintext and redirecting the link to the new one won't work. Additionally, the Vita seems to check the source of the file as well, but that might be my fault.

Basically, you can bypass the whitelist by making a plaintext .dat with a list of games the PSTV supports, and write it to "vs0:data/internal/launch/"

Problem being that, as tomtomdu80 said, only sysapps can access all the filesystem, and there is no (public) r/w exploit at the moment.

There might be userland sceReg functions we can poke around for using PSP2SDK but other than that we are SOL at the moment.

So now that the EML generator was released is it possible to write the modified list_launch_vita.dat file over? I'll have to play around with it once I get back home.

u can't changed a single byte in param.sfo or any other file because they r pfs protected and it becomes invalid ;)

the trick i used to play killzone mercenaries on psvtv
i had mercenary killzone beta didnt work
i had a demo didnt work
i had a full version from a avoucher with a vita didnt work
i used the psn+ version free of killzone mercenary some months back worked

now i should be able to compare on profiles to allow whitelisting the game for psvtv ?
ie the game must say i'm compatible.

If it's possible to bypass the PS TV's whitelist, do you think this could be used for the PS vita?

Is there a way to fool the white list by using dummy compatible game to load up a non-compatible one? Sort of like loading a game within a game.
