Just pushed version 1.0.2. The file size issue should be fixed now, as well as a lot of other bugs.
I've also added the ability to add your own custom boot logos and OPNSSMP modules (not very useful for now).

Thank you for testing! :)

some games wont work if you compress the eboot.pbp (-c), so if you have a black screen just try with uncompressed eboot.pbp

I must be doing something wrong here or have terrible luck. lol

Everything I've attempted to get working just always throws me back to XMB with the "The game could not be started (Error 80020148)"...

If I'm in CFW mode (using 6.60 LME) they run no problem (expected), just not when in OFW mode. :(

Must be doing something wrong somewhere or it just doesn't like me and my psp hates me. haha

You are not alone, I second that. CFW no prob. OFW: Exact same error code. As long as I sign ISOs smaller than the EBOOT it works, but if the ISO gets bigger than the base EBOOT I get kicked back into the XMB...

Sign_np does not require a base game, (well, not as EBOOT.PBP file, just its version_key and its cid) just the iso you want to sign.

For example:

I use my KON.ISO (1.7GB) and use the version_key.bin from Corpse party (NPEH00130 - 600MB as EBOOT.PBP).

I shift-right-click the folder that contains sign_np.exe the ISO I want to sign, and have my CMD opened in the correct direction.

Then i type:

Code: Select all

sign_np -pbp KON.ISO EBOOT.PBP EP1023-NPEH00130_00-CORPSEPARTY00000 3E070D31A73140C0BF34CBB9EE1F39ED
Explained: sign_np -pbp <input file (ISO)> <output file (wished name of the PBP)> <cid of the base game> <version_key.bin's Hexadecimals of the base game>

Also keep an eye on the output information (after the whole thing is done).

Does the CMD display NPUMDIMG flags: 0x01000003 or NPUMDIMG flags: 0x00000002?

Flag 3 is DRM-free (demo) and flag 2 is DRM (paid). You want flag 2 for the PS Vita.

Alright, I've been out of action for a long time, so I feel like I'm missing some critical information. What tools do I need to actually get the cid of the base game (which I'm assuming is the owned game/demo I want to masquerade the final product as) and the version_key for the base game?
