Can't you just unpack your _boot, add an image file, and repack?

Made Filer and FTP for Vita into bubbles.

mind giving me a little more explanation because i try and nothing shows up

It is very easy. here the tutorial :

1- take the Eboot.PBP of psp filer for example and rename it PARAM.PBP
2- put this PARAM.PBP you just renamed inside a working psp game that shows in live area. for example your exploit game. Ms0:PsP/GAME/NPZ***/PARAM.PBP (of pspfiler ) + EBOOT.PBP (already exist there)
3- shut down the vita instantly after copying PARAM.PBP
4- open vita's recovery menu by pressing power + Home (blue colour) + R , recovery menu shows up. choose rebuild database. (2nd choice)

don't forget to backup your exploit game before doing that!!. also, this afaik works only on PsP mini games you bought. tested it on GTA Liberty city, Prinny2, TEkken6, batman lego and didn't work

That's becouse it's TN-V that rename EBOOT

ohh, i tested ark but it is renaming EBOOT to FBOOT too. i have no idea how to do it. Vhbl doesn't rename EBOOT to FBOOT right? i have no idea how to make Vhbl work on 3.18 arcade dart :/. anyway i wanted just the icon to show on livearea. it is better than nothing lol
