help regarding ( __sce_ebootpbp)

Post by mr.gas » Sat May 03, 2014 4:47 pm

somehow i dumped the file ( __sce_ebootpbp ) from king of pool and other games ..this file is hidden in every game folder
..
The problem it seems encrypted
But the interesting thing when I put it back with the associated eboot and rebuild the data base the game show in the live area
..
so is there any way to resign this file with another eboot .?

I imagine that the important part is encrypted, so without being able to encrypt and replace what's there (assuming we even know what to replace), it doesn't seem like it would be practical to do such a thing.

Is that .pbp format?

I see well file that is named _sce_menuinfo but not __sce_ebootpbp.

Check it again, this is the PSID, or you didn't login in PSN yet

It's actually the account ID or something, the PSID from sceOpenPSIDGetOpenPSID is 16 bytes, not 8 bytes.
The one here is the same as the one in flash2:/act.dat at 0x08 (which is 8 bytes), and that's not the PSID.
