Ooh, I didn't know! Thanks for that advice, too bad the thing is just a Windows program though, want it running on my server, don't wanna require having my Windows machine turned on all the time. But really good to know and use once in order to activate a system, should I ever need to.carloswkl wrote:System Activation works with SKFU Pr0xy, maybe you can give a try. I'm using Vita SA set and creating my own XML (by modifying it to my Vita version and region US/UK/SA), then set the SKFU forward the XML request to my local HTTP server which contain the modified copy of XML. You need to periodically on and off this SKFU Pr0xy to use it, this is the only drawback, may be due to the session timeout causing the SID is different on time to time.Regarding System Activation, I'm pretty sure you need to be on the latest firmware to do that as long as you don't use a PS3 to transfer a game (which activates your Vita in the process, even on old firmwares). But if it would be possible to activate it on older firmwares with a proxy too, that would be really cool!
You can download it here:
SKFU Pr0xy v1.0: http://wololo.net/2013/11/13/release-skfus-pr0xy/
Make sure you have the version 1.0, not the BETA.
Hoho, not sure coz' I don't have PS4 here tooBtw, would it be hard to add PS4 update blocking aswell to the VitaUpdateBlocker (Guess it's kind of out of its scope unless you rename it to PSUpdateBlocker or something)?
I just tried to use Vita Update Blocker 1.2 and got the same resultZAN!-got wrote:Tried both blocker and SKFU Pr0xy, prompted me to update my firmware and kicked me out of my PSN account![]()
