I have the cartridge version of this game that I imported. Will that work or does it have to be the downloaded PSN version?

What the ****, it has a cartridge version?!?!? I thought this was a PSP game, or is it a rare example of a PSP game released on cartridge?!

This is massive if it DOES work. Since this exploit presumably can never be patched, then it'll be a perfect import for those of us who want a lifetime exploit and be able to update as well.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking clearly. The cart version I imported was a Vita cart, not a PSP cart. This game was released in Japan on Vita as well. I wasn't even thinking that it needed to be the PSP version to work. Sorry for confusing you.

Haha no worries. I thought we were on to something there for a second!

Still have
Incorrect format for file ./languages/ru.txt on line 1.
Format is "variable name[tab]value"
after click to the link. (Captcha bug?..)

Edit: and
Could not open socket
after captcha via TOR (US-proxy).

Is this supposed to happen?

This happens if I use the r173 VHBL files

Using the r166 files will freeze the game and the Vita.

Edit: It seems that the HBL.BIN file is the culprit. The r173 release is not fully functional, because the HBL.BIN file was not compiled correctly.

Edit2: Nevermind. If you press L/R you can access the savedata/VHBL folder and therefore use this one. Still a weird bug.

That's a bug in wMenu.
I couldn't find a page about it on the newer firmwares, but here it is from GOLOR.
I encounter this bug too in 3.12

http://wololo.net/vhbl-for-gamocracy-on ... -of-robot/

It's under Known Issues

If you check the path in my picture, you see it is the EAN from "forgot to make CL'EAN'".

So basically the hbl.bin file was not correctly compiled, and therefore tries to search for homebrews in that weird path.

If one would use a previously working version, like r166 (which freezes at 3.12) it should load a legit path (be it /PSP/GAME/ or /PSP/VHBL/).

Usually it should just show the error if the directory is really empty, but this directory is "chosen" cause of an unfinished file, the hbl.bin.

You know it should say something like r172 instead of "forgot to make clean"...
