Re: [RELEASE][FOR 3.10]A new exploit for PawaPuro 2012 Kette
Can you explain how Sony blacklists and why they can't blacklist this?
Re: [RELEASE][FOR 3.10]A new exploit for PawaPuro 2012 Kette
What is the usual method? It is obviously nothing like, say, Nintendo's firmware game title whitelist, by your comment. I was under the impression that it was a trusted/untrusted list in firmware, in a similar fashion. Would love to have that explained. /explainlikeimfive/173210 wrote: EXPLOIT.ARR is not savedata.
It makes it impossible to patch the exploit with Sony's usual way.
EDIT: I shouldn't post when I am so tired. I should have added above that before updating and publishing a new blacklist/whitelist within the firmware, they obviously fix the issue within the firmware allowing exploitation.
Re: [RELEASE][FOR 3.10]A new exploit for PawaPuro 2012 Kette
I got to the last step but unfortunately, the VHBL would not load up. My PS Vita just crashed instead. Is it possible for you to provide the VHBL with EXPLOIT.ARR in it again? The VHBL link that you've provided did not link to Jikkyo Pawafuru Puro Yakyuu 2012 VHBL download. Just doubt I might be getting the wrong version of VHBL.... thanks again and great work!!

The usual way is to prevent from loading exploited savedata.josh_axey wrote:What is the usual method? It is obviously nothing like, say, Nintendo's firmware game title whitelist, by your comment. But the ARR file is not savedata.
You can download VHBL from wololo.net/downloads or zload.net.davy171 wrote:I got to the last step but unfortunately, the VHBL would not load up. My PS Vita just crashed instead. Re: [RELEASE][FOR 3.10]A new exploit for PawaPuro 2012 Kette
So, what is to stop them patching the ARR from being loaded? (I must be missing something?)173210 wrote: The usual way is to prevent from loading exploited savedata.

Re: [RELEASE][FOR 3.10]A new exploit for PawaPuro 2012 Kette
They patch exploits by modifying the savedata utility module.josh_axey wrote:So, what is to stop them patching the ARR from being loaded? (I must be missing something?)173210 wrote: The usual way is to prevent from loading exploited savedata.

But ARR won't use the function. The difference is.
Re: [RELEASE][FOR 3.10]A new exploit for PawaPuro 2012 Kette
thanks for your help. works like magic!!
Re: [RELEASE][FOR 3.10]A new exploit for PawaPuro 2012 Kette
But at a certain point, you "save" the game. Why is that needed? Couldn't sony just make the console exit there?173210 wrote:The usual way is to prevent from loading exploited savedata.josh_axey wrote:What is the usual method?
