Thanks, but didn't work, I'm afraid.
It makes me think I'm missing something very obvious, but I really have no idea what. And I have no idea why it doesn't let me connect it via USB. Is there a particular fix for that? I don't know if it would help any in this case. I tried this already, but no help: http://www.sony-mea.com/support/faq/482423

Edit: I guess it's not possible to let CMA update and then retransfer the old UNO game that I have backed up on PC...?

Ive run out of ideas, everyone else seems to not have issues. Do you absolutely need Open CMA? Its not required to copy homebrew and other content, its just recommended.

Man I wish he could get this issue solved, almost as much as I wish I could solve my own PSV dramas! This problem Marty's having is really puzzling, and I'm really hoping he eventually solves it. Like JD said, OpenCMA isn't necessary, but I'd sure HATE to not be able to use it. For transferring small files and whatnot, I prefer the convenience of FTP, but for large amounts of data, and speed I DEF prefer OpenCMA.

Don't give up Sir Martin! :)

I suppose I don't need it, but it's just, how do I get an FTP application on the Vita without it? Can I update the Vita and then reexploit with a backed up UNO game? :?
Thanks for the encouragement. I don't plan on giving up anytime soon.

Just copy it over, open CMA isnt required to copy homebrew. To use UNO you need to have 2.02 or below. If its not on your vita already and you have a PS3 you can copy it.

I don't understand how I am to copy stuff to the Vita without CMA. Just copy it over how?
I guess that means I can't update then. Would've thought as much.

Oops I forgot Yifanlus isnt working, and youre on a lower firmware. Is there another computer you can use?

Another computer to use Yifan Lu with? It was beyond my ability to get it running in the first place.
I only have this (Vista) and my Laptop (also Vista). I have a VM installed with W7.
