Hi guys.

I have installed my 802.11n usb wireless adapter and checked all settings in both fiddler2 and the vita.

I can connect and sign into PSN and access the psn store, but when I try to download the free game called beats slider, I get the following message:

"could not connect to the server or device within the time limit (NW-5603-4)"

It stays on the preparing for download screen for almost a minute and then I get the above error message.

What can I do to fix this problem please?

Thnaks for your help.

1. go to the game/app that you want to download
2. tap Download
3. When the dialogue box appears (would you like to post... Yes or no), press the PS button then go to Vita's settings and disable proxy (Do not use)
4. (optional) close fiddler so you could download faster (That's what happened to me.)
5. go back to PSN Store and click No, then the download should start.
6. Enjoy. :D

so this is what I do. everyone who encounters the NW-5603-4 problem should try this. :)
Take note that you'd have to open fiddler again if you want to connect to PSN.

Hello StickHand, thank you for your kind help.

I actually managed to get it working, and I have just downloaded the game :)

I did something similar to you, but what I did was this.

I had logged into the PSN store, then I pressed the PS home button and went to the advanced network settings of my wireless connection, and then I had set it to "do not use" proxy.

Then I had to connect back to my wireless connection and then I pressed the PS home button, and entered back into the PSN store which was already open, and then I was finally able to download the game "beats slider".

Once I had downloaded the game, I exited out of the PSN store, went to the advanced settings of my wireless connection, and selected to "Use" proxy , and then I had to reenter all my proxy details again, and everything was fine. :)

Also I just kept Fiddler2 open the whole time.

Once again, thanks for your kind help guys, it is most appreciated :)
