I can't get this to work. I followed the instructions up to setting up the proxy on the Vita, but when I try running "Internet Connection Test", it gets to Internet Connection and says "Failed". Nothing pops up in Charles. I have forwarded the 8888 port to the PC and to the Vita and still nothing.I have even gone into the Vita settings and set up the IP address, subnet, DNS, and MTU all manually and still not getting anything to pop up. Problem is, I can ping the Vita from the command line in Windows, but nothing comes up in Charles and it still always fails at Internet Connection instead of Playstation Network Sign-In.
If it helps, I am on Windows 7 64-bit. Is there some type of firewall setting I need to change to get the Charles to see the Vita?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
