I thought it said to in the docs of openCMA? Its been a while since Ive used it though, so I may be wrong. Im on linux now
The reason we wanna do this is to prevent the vita from updating, how can you prevent the vita from updating if it's already in latest firmware? still it's always recommend it to put it in flight mode when copying things if you have an exploit, to prevent surprise updates.

ZZREZZ wrote:Quick question: If you fail to use open CMA while a new firmware is out, and you get the "You must update the system software" error, is there a way to reverse it by downgrading the CMA program itself or something? Or is the knowledge of there being a newer firmware for the Vita stored in the vita itself?
The problem is that I have VHBL running on firmware 2.60, and I can't manage any homebrew files through USB anymore, and that's... troublesome.
Same here, i suggest anyone on 2.60 with AAD or other exploited games to turn on flight mode on your vita before opening cma or stay away from pressing the PS Store.
Got it to work putting my vita in flight mode and rebooting my vita(Holding R + PS Home button + Power) after shutting down. Thanks everyone! :D
