Watcher doesn't actually open, it just opens and closes really fast its normal. What errors are you getting?
Everyone else is reporting it works.
THANKS!!!! Everything seems to be working for me....

Directions DUMBED all the way down...

1. Download the patch and extract the files to your desktop (http://www.mediafire.com/?m4z6d664bfbfr22)
2. Run "CMASetup"
3. After installation open the folder openCMA_vita_180 and copy everything to where the official CMA is installed at --->(C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Content Manager Assistant).
4. Run (<--DOUBLE CLICK)the "set.dll" file (run everything as administrator)
5. Then Run the batch file named "run"
6. It should load everything within the window and it'll install CMAWatcher and CMADownloader in that same folder.
7. Run "CMAWatcher", it should open and close quickly (you might not even seen it open)
8. Run "CMADownloader" and re-install the de-compressed package
7. After that let it re cache the database
8. You are all done! :D

That is what i did! but it tells me that certain files were not found or terminated
well ill worry about this tomorrow i gotta go to bed

Hmm. This doesn't work for me at all. I tried 3 times too, un-installing and starting from scratch, ran everything as administrator, I connect the Vita, Windows recognizes it as connected, then I run CMA from the Vita and get the error "E-80182014".

I'm running windows XP Pro in virtualbox. Any ideas?

thanks! I was in the process of rewriting it :)
HackThiefCoder93 wrote:Still doent work but it gives me less errors this time it says cma.exe pid (diff error number)11632 has been terminated
and cma downloader.exe not found
You sure you extracted the files into the install directory?
it should be something like: C:\Program Files\Sony\Content Manager Assistant
Also antivirus could do that, im not sure. Just try restarting the process over :)

you shouldn't get that, it didnt patch right then.

Is everyone using windows XP? That could be a problem.

Im going to uninstall mine and restart to see if i can replicate your error but this does work %100

Install seems to go ok, but then when I try to connect vita to PC (internet or not), I get the following error on the Vita: E-80182014.
Raspberry Pi Model B Rev. 2 Raspbian Wheezy Powered Headless Server
PS3 CECHP01 Habib Cobra 4.65 v1.00
PS Vita PCH1001 3.18 TN-V10 via Gladiator Begins
Desktop Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS
Laptop Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS

I just followed my tutorial after uninstalling and i had no problems -_-
le sigh

Alright we will figure this out dont worry. Other people are telling me it worked for them and some aren't so its a common factor.
Also make sure your vita is not connected to your pc when you do this. You can also try this. It may have patched on the pc but the vita side is connected so unplug the vita and turn OFF the wifi/3g on the vita and then try to do it.
