gPSP on 3.57

Hi All,

So I have VHBL installed through 3.57 Metal Gear Portable Ops+ and whilst I can install a SNES emulator and get it to run I am struggling to get gPSP to run. The main issue seems to be related to the GBA Bios, every time I try to run it I get an error saying it can't find it. I have a copy of it and it has the appropriate m5check, I have placed it in the gPSP folder where the eboot is named gba_bios.bin. In addition I insert the BIOS / rezip any files as "Store" and I have also inserted the additional required folder structure of PSP/VHBL/gPSP/ into the zip so that VHBL can pick it up from the default location when it is installed.

To give an overview of some of the other steps I have taken:

1. Tried different versions of gpsp (Latest KAI build, J, 0.9) to no success.
2. Tried different BIOS versions / downloads.
3. Tried with / without changing the path location so it installs to /GAME/ folder (to no avail as expected)

Slowly running out of ideas. Am I doing anything wrong?

I have the exact same issue as yourself my friend!

I also changed the config file to find the rom folder etc properly.

However it seems the emulator tried to find the bios file in /PSP/GAME/gPSP however as you know the emulator is in /PSP/VHBL/gPSP.

I can't seem to find a fix for this.

Any help from anybody is much appreciated!

Ahh, that makes sense......

Does anyone have any ideas on how to change this?

GPSP often doesn't work with VHBL, I tried everything with Toukiden Kiwami VHBL. However, I tested many other homebrew for that version so the below thread would be a good place to check for other homebrew.
