You need to put the roms folder where it needs to be and roms inside of it before you zip it up into INSTALL.ZIP file.Cyberm wrote:i've been able to install emulator homebrews but can't load roms :c

Yeah thanks But I got lost with that, I just managed to do it with VitaFTP.jutley wrote:You need to put the roms folder where it needs to be and roms inside of it before you zip it up into INSTALL.ZIP file.Cyberm wrote:i've been able to install emulator homebrews but can't load roms :c
Now a problem I see is that some games are not working. For ex. I tested with the SNES emulator of Smoke's repo to test a game, removed it to try another emulator, then reinstalled the first one and now the same game doesn't load, I just get a black screen. Dunno if I can rebuild the database or smth to see if it repairs

1. Get your homebrew from this mirror by SMOKE: https://mega.co.nz/#F!NlYCQITY!MU9WnA7_V98tnJC8zUxWRA, choose PSVita>VHBL.
2. Download your homebrew and extract it.
3. Put the folder in your PSVITA/PSAVEDATA/some numbers/*here*
4. Make sure each folder has the file INSTALL.ZIP and the rest of the files.
5. Transfer through CMA/qCMA/OCMA whatever.
6. Start VHBL
7. Press L if it cannot find any homebrew. If it can, browse to your savedata folder.
8. X twice to install.
9. Enjoy

This happened to me because I had my folder structure wrong.SonicVaan wrote:^

I had it:
PSVITA/PSAVEDATA/some numbers/SNES9xTYLMecm v0.4.2Mod r26/SNES9XTYL/snes files here
it should be:
PSVITA/PSAVEDATA/some numbers/SNES9XTYL/snes files here
Once I removed that first folder it came up fine.
Re: Noob Guide (How to install Homebrew on VHBL 3.36)
So... I should basically do this rather than the INSTALL.zip thing here? Reading this thread it looks like there are 2 possibilities, but none are working. When I try the INSTALL.zip thingy it shows me a corrupt save BUT not if I have it in the VHBL save folder, transfering works fine but upon opening the VHBL save folder the screen goes black for a brief moment and it shows the config line (I assume the same in the text file?) and then returns.iball wrote:PSVITA/PSAVEDATA/some numbers/SNES9XTYL/snes files here
