Ok here is a quick guide below

1 download a homebrew
2 make a folder called PSP
3 make a folder called VHBL
4 put vhbl folder into PSP folder
5 Now copy your homebrew into vhbl folder.
6 so now your file structure should be like this PSP\VHBL\PUT YOUR HOMEBREW HERE.
7 Now right click on the psp folder and click add to zip make sure you select store and zip file and rename the file INSTALL.ZIP
8 Now press ok it will leave you with a INSTALL.ZIP file
9 Now you need a psp save game folder for any game put that into your cma savegamedata folder (USE THE SAVEGAME FOLDER BELOW YOU MUST EXTRACT IT)
10 copy the INSTALL.ZIP file into the same savegamedata folder and now use content manager on your psvita and copy the savegame to your vita
11 once you have done this start vhbl and click L trigger find the savegame folder your copied and find the INSTALL.ZIP file and press x or o to install it once done your good to go i just installed psp filer

Enjoy.

Copy the homebrew into your save folder so you have a folder with install.zip/param.sfo/icon0.png inside your save folder. Toss as many homebrews as you want in separate folders like that.

Start VHBL, push L, pick one of the folders, and you should be good to go.

Every time I do this on 3.36 it will freeze up on what seems to be extracting, because on 3.35 I was able to install VitaFTP, then I updated to 3.36 and now I am not able to install any new home-brews and VitaFTP won't establish any connections. (using a custom bubble made with Final Fantasy Tactics) does this have to do with the PSP folder lock down under 3.36 as my home-brews are installed to "ms0:/PSP/VHBL/" ? Any other suggestions?

I cant get the install.zip to show up after transfer. It just doesn't appear no matter the save file I use.

Place the INSTALL.ZIP into any game save then transfer the game save, when you load the VHBL press 'L' and select the game save folder and it will prompt you to install.

Make sure you have it titled "INSTALL.ZIP" otherwise it won't transfer under CMA (QCMA will transfer other files though)
