Hi guys!
I'm new here and new in Vita hacking scene. FieldRunners is my first exploit game on my Vita and I faced several problems with it.
I copied VHBL posted by The Z to my Vita, 138menu worked just fine for me. After that, I tried some emulators from this thread (PicoDrive, SNES9xTYL, gPSP). All of them loads fine, but when it comes to load a Roms, I getting a black screen. I tried different roms with different regions, but there was no effect.
Must mention, that even then, emulator still works and I was able back to menu, and load rom once again, but it's still black screen when loads.

Later I tried VHBLv2 fix and emulator builds (and even ROMS that must work) posted by The Z 2 pages before and still got no luck.
Anyone have same problem?

Another question...anyone have tutorial how make Install.zip for latest VHBL?
I found many tutorial videos for old ones, and tried to do myself from scratch, but it do not appear in 138menu's Install section.

My SNES9xTyl works flawlessly on Fieldrunners 2.61.

I tried a couple of ROMS (f.e. Mario Kart, Super-mario Allstars)
What's not working for me, is some Sonic game - I think Sonic and Knuckles or something. It shows intro and stuff and then crashes to a blackscreen.

My SNES9xTyl has an EBOOT.PBP wich is dated @ 08.09.2012.

the snesadvance.dat has an entry for Super Mario Allstars
It says: 925637C7|Super Mario All-Stars (U)|4|0|0|0|0|0|181AC=42

Maybe that helps somebody.

The s9xTYL.ini contains only this: ms0:/PSP/GAME/snes9xTYL/ROMS/

Actually I didn't change the folder yet since I believe it can not write to the GAME folder. Didn't try it yet. But this may also be a reason for Sonic to crash.

For me some install.zips only work in capitals "INSTALL.ZIP".

Dunno if that's just me...

Only save them as ZIP with the option "store" - no compression! INSIDE the zip there must be ONE folder containing the eboot.pbp - not many folders and the eboot hidden in another folder - inside the root of this ONE folder there MUST be the EBOOT.PBP - also in capital letters.

Yea it works for the most part but it has trouble with the more complicated cheats

Picodrive works fine. For the snes emulator you have to use this one : snes9xTYL_042_VHBL_nointro

I might be wrong, but I think the exploit is only for the US, EU, JPN game. Didn't see anything about the asian version.
