1 savedata file for multiple homebrew, for VHBL?

Post by rafael707 » Wed Mar 07, 2012 5:40 pm

so i have many homebrew that i used with HBL on my psp go that i wanna test, and i wanted to know if theres a easy way for me to use 1 psp game savedata for all those homebrew, so i can install it on VHBL?

would changing the folder name for all the homebrew games work? maybe changing the names of the savedata files?

Yes this is possible, and it should be like this:

(random save name)
UCES0001234 -> install.zip

Inside of the install.zip could be those:

PSPFiler6.6 -> EBOOT.PBP
gpSP -> EBOOT.PBP
Snes -> EBOOT.PBP
LameCraft -> EBOOT.PBP

You have to put all these homebrews in the install.zip, so it can "copy" those folders of the homebrews to /PSP/GAME/

It doesn't matter, once the games are installed, the "savedata" folder is not useful, so you can overwrite it with another one containing new games, install it, and so on...
If you need US PSN Codes, this technique is what I recommend.
