The Z: yeah, it might be related to the way the files are zipped/unzipped. In particular, params.sfo seems to be extremely "sensitive" to some of the file attributes such as "read only" or "last date modified" or "date created". If somebody is unzipping the archive incorrectly, that could change these dates... I am pretty sure I zipped them correctly, but in the JP version I did a last minute change to include a JP Readme in the archive, which might have messed things up a little bit.
