This being the problem. The game may be tied to your account, but your PSVita does not have the activation files for that particular PSVita, Game, and Account combination that are only gained when the game is moved onto your PSVita. (This is why a game needs online the first time you send it to a location.)
As Sony had removed the game, these files cannot be obtained, and any new ones once the game is re-added to the PSN will blacklist prior versions, preventing any use of the exploit.
