Snes9x-TYL VHBL no save

Post by Gurry » Sat Mar 03, 2012 1:13 am

Hi

i tried "zelda - a link to the past" and "lufia - rise of the sinistrals". in both games you can save and load as long as you stay on the emulator. but when you quit the emulator and vhbl the saves are deleted. same with savestate option from the emu.

can anyone confirm this problem? i want to know if i am the only one with that problem or if this is a general problem?

sorry for my bad english

I haven't tried with those games but I tested with Super Metroid, for me the saves stay after I reboot the console.

Hey can somebody say me how to install Snes9x-TYL correctly ? I have put the smc roms in the rom directory (with no compression) in the install zip. I can start the emulator on vita but THE ROMS ARE NOT IN ANY DIRECTORY! So i can`t start any game. PLEASE HELP ME!

Tried super mario world but it doesn't keep the save file after reboot.

Make sure you have set the option "Autosave updated SRAM" to yes in Snes9x-TYL.

I tried savestates also and it works.

did you put a savefile in the save folder before you installed snes? or did you played a fresh game without a savefile?

so i think its a problem with specific games. maybe some roms are not clean roms and corrupted?

edit: ok, it depends on the rom you are using. i tried Lufia II with a fresh, clean rom and now the save works.
