Activate new PS Vita with FW 3.60

Post by Alinho »

Hi,

I have recently bought a ps Vita with FW 3.60 on it. I want to activate it so that I can download the games on my PSN Account and use Henkaku, too without updating the Firmware.

If I try to activate it through the menu of the PS Vita, I am prompted to update the firmware.

Is there any other way to not lose the possibility for Homebrews etc and use the games I bought?

Thanks in advance

Only way currently is to use a PS3 as far as I know.

Basically there are 3 ways:

1. Download on ps3 as mentioned and transfer to Vita.

2. Download on a Vita and put the card on the other Vita which must be activated on the same account.

3. Download via browser (click "download on my PS Vita" in your Psn account)

The last one only works if both vitas are activated on the same account which means, if you want to activate a freshly formatted Vita, you need Psn access, which won't work on FW 3.60. The first and second I didn't try.

So it would be best to download all games on a ps3 now and never update any of the systems since it's working like that, right?

Install and run AdrenalineEasyInstaller (ePSP CFW), it activates your vita automatically :)

You guys are making things too complicated.

1. Install latest henkaku
2. Log into the PS Store
3. Download anything, Netflix, maybe a demo. Just anything.

3.60 Henkaku can still connect to PSN but stock 3.60 can not.
Does it quit? If not, then it's legit... Too legit.
