A few questions about the HenKaku homebrew enabler

Post by MooMooMan » Sat Jul 30, 2016 8:09 pm

Sorry if this has already been answered but I haven't found these answers anywhere.

What resources are available to the homebrew? Is it PSM? Or is this true userland, and if so, what comes with it? Does anybody know the specifics? I'm very interested in the answer because emulators could run much better if they weren't limited by the stupid PSM restrictions...

From my understanding is this is vita userland exploit that allows access to the full hardware of the vita, different from rejuvenate since you do not need PSM to run it. What comes with it is the bubble that gets installed after the process is over which has a file manager and FTP.

While there will be some great stuff coming out for HENkaku, don't get your hopes up of dreaming too big in the emulator department.
