I own a PS Vita running on 3.18 and I love it for all the emulators I can run on it. Now I want to setup something similar for my TV:
Using the PS VitaTV and get all the homebrews running on it - preferable as bubbles.
I want to be able to run:
- SNES, Genesis, ScummVM, etc
- TN-V for PSP games
- TN-X for PS1 games
- VitaFTP, PSPFiler
I have all the games needed to 'open' the normal PS Vita on my PSN account (and downloaded to my PS3):
- Puzzle Scape/Arcade Darts for initial VHBL to get FTP access to dupe the base game and set up the bubbles (can't remember which of both games I ended up using)
- Tekken 2 for PS1 emulation
- Numblast (which I use as base game for bubbles as it is only 40 MB)
- The Unity PSM app for 3.18 to run rejuvenate (although I don't use/need rejuvenate atm)
My PS Vita and PSN account are European (bought in germany prior I moved to the states).
Now my question:
1. Is it possible to get all this done on a VitaTV? It would be ok to run the homebrews via VHBL but I would prefer custom bubbles.
2. Where can I get a VitaTV that will come with 3.20 Firmware so I can use it with my PSN account. Is there a special bundle to look for? Also I read that 3.20 was the US release, will a US VitaTV on 3.20 allow me to use my EU PSN account?
3. Do I need additional software/games besides the exploit games mentioned above? I heard I need at least some update blocker as the VitaTV does not have 'flightmode'.
4. Can I use OpenCMA to transfer/restore games (e.g. to do the bubble base game dupe trick?)
Thanks!
