Hi i have made my first Hombrew (PowerMenu) for psvita and psp.

----What is this?----
It's little hombrew that allow's you to set psvita or psp in standby mode and power off you psp.

----why?----
Some people had problem's with on/off button so yeah why not ;)

----Information's----
It can not power off your psvita! it can only set your vita in standby mode.
It have too some little information's like "is device charging?".

----WIP----
Iso file to make bubble + pboot.pbp

----Changelog----
v0.2 Added - power off button

Thanks. The less times i have to press the physical power button means less wear and tear on the ONE button that I need to work to turn on my system. I try to avoid pressing my power button too often or too hard because that button is darn important. I could make a bubble for this and use that to put my device in standby maybe.... or use it to put my psp in standby thru other methods. I think i will find use for it.

Well on most custom firmwares now there is a shutdown psp from the VSH menu so that wouldn't be needed for me. I use this method to shutdown psp to save wear and tear on the physical on switch. I have discovered a nifty trick to turn on a PSP without using the power button at all. You can insert a pandora battery that is setup with time machine to load your nand firmware when no button are pressed on boot. So basically I can turn on and shutdown a PSP (pandora friendly) that is missing the power switch.

A few things: this will work as a bubble, no need to run it thru VHBL, just add this .ISO to sing NP expert. The current PATH is:

Code: Select all

ms0:/PSP/GAME/POWER/EBOOT.PBP
I didn't add a pboot to this one I left it without, when adding to the app.db if you have a pboot for the device mine seem to come out as whit bubbles only. Adding a icon was as simple as adding the manual path in the database. The black XMB theme already had one. On that note is there any way to dump or maybe add the PSVtv power to the vita. i mean we can make a bubble to the PKG installer lol.

Hope it helps, and sorry for bring up an old thread. :D
