qwik, any reason this method couldn't be used for PSP iso as well instead of making new eboots for each and every game?

Also, can this also work off a TNV base? Assuming this is based on VHBL because I get errors on some PicoDrive sega CD games (Vay and shining force CD). I get these same errors with VHBL but never in TNV. It would be great if someone released a TNV base of this for those of us on 3.18.

Why when I try to make a custom bubble with this loader it won't work anymore I already have one made for snes but for some reason sign_np doesn't do something right and the custom bubble gives me a black screen then boots me back to live area. This only happens when I use the loader.iso am I doing something wrong please help me out someone if I can I will pm whoever my base game to try this for me

The homebrew folder is ms0:psp/game/nzportable/eboot.pbp

If you want to play nzp you have two choices:
  • convert NZP to an iso then sign_np (or fake_np) with base-bubble eboot
  • make an vhbl bubble and start from it
for the first method: download the latest v1.0 demo, convert it to an iso with eboot2iso, sign the eboot.bin before sign_np
sorry 4 my bad english :)

NO that is not the only way

i already had a homebrewloader bubble for nzp i had erased it to change the pboot and now for some reason the sign_np is acting weird with the loader.iso

I'm having the same issue, haven't had much time to experiment but I've tried both pspfiler and vitaftp with this loader, I'm sure the issue is on my end, I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

1. Open loader.iso with umdgen and replace path.txt with the correct path. For example ms0:/PSP/GAME/FTP/EBOOT.PBP for vitaftp. And save as iso.
2. Use fake_np to fake the loader.iso as the Base game (using arcade darts, has network functions so even though it's a mini, should work like a normal game, right?)
Fake_np -b original.pbp loader.iso FTP_EBOOT.PBP
3. Add & onto the end of the Base games folder, create new Base game folder and add FTP_EBOOT.PBP, Rename to EBOOT.PBP.
4. rebuild database

I've checked file names and everything seems to be in order, but loading the game just brings me back to the home screen, with no error. My tn-v bubble works fine, on 3.18.

I haven't had any problems. I directed it to my NES, SNES, Masterboy and GBA emulators inside my TN-V and it works just fine. I use Numblast as my base. Maybe the base game is the problem. It also depends on your firmware.
