Re: Gamecube emulator for psp/psvita?
Unfortunately, due to the limitations of the PSP (and therefore any sandboxed PS Vita hack), a functional GameCube emulator isn't possible. GameCube emulation is demanding even on newer computers, and the PSP is almost ten years old.

Of course, you can't run dolphin on a PSP, but if in some strange turn of events we get a native vita hack through the combined efforts of some very talented hackers, it might be possible for it to be ported to the vita.
However, the portable version of dolphin is very badly optimized and not really paid attention to. The best option you have for that is the Nvidea shield and we know it's a little more powerful than the Vita. I think the Vita can be compared to something around modern smartphones, like the Galaxy S3, but I could be wrong. The dolphin emulator does work on that, but it's really laggy and not optimized. I think if dolphin portable had the same amount of support as the deadalus emulator had for PSP, it might work in the same fashion. Some games would probably work fine without sound and some would not.
Of course that's all speculation. And it's pulling a lot of assumptions.
