Hey Z,
I just got the PSVita PCH 2000 with system software 3.01
I did what you said and downloaded CMA for firewares 3.0x and installed OpenCMA r5 for firewares 2.0x-3.1x
And then i made sure airplane mode is on and wifi is off and rebooted the vita, however it says "Could not connect to the PC." on the Vita

When i did the open "run.bat" run as administrator, there was an error shows up in the cmd window.
SUCCESS: The process "CMA.exe" with PID6080 has been terminated.
ERROR: The process "CMADownloader.exe" not found.
Adding opencma.dll to binary files
CMA.exe:
(and then all the dll files...)

So is it because the error CMADownloader.exe not found causing the problem or something else?

sorry if the question has been asked before, but i had been looking solutions for hours with no hope

Weird, I run the same.

Try to delete your CMA folder (where it installed it) and then reinstall just the sony CMA.

If you did this, try to connect the Vita to your PC, it should work but ask for an update. Then apply the OpenCMA patch.

You never used QCMA, did you?

"Could not connect to the PC" apparently is just a problem with my USB port.
Now that i tried with a different PC, i can run CMA, however it is telling me to link my Sony Entertainment Network account with PS Vita system. I put in my account info but a window pops up on my Vita "An error has occurred. (E-82377e20)", i was unable to enter in my account and it won't let me go on the CMA

=====

yes i did some more research and know that there is no way to bybass cma 3.01, and no way to access save data without a PS3...
Should i just update my Vita to the newest version? But I really want to be able to play PSP game tho....

If you dont have a PS3, you can not link a PSN account to your new Vita.

If you want to play just PSP games, you should've gotten a PSP Go.

QCMA basically has "OpenCMA" build in.

If you are using QCMA, then you do not need the OpenCMA patch.
