Snes9xTYLcm (mecm without me) 091127 (173210 Build) for eCFW

Post by 173210 »

ePSP don't have Media Engine.
So I compiled Snes9xTYLcm 091127 (similer to mecm, but it doesn't use Media Engine)

----Download----
http://www.mediafire.com/?pmaioj6l9rb4p5r

----Source Code----
http://www1.axfc.net/uploader/He/so/281 ... 27_src.zip

----About known bugs----
Some roms isn't work well.
If you want play them, download s9xTYLslimmecm0523.zip.tgz and rename EBOOT.user to EBOOT.PBP and use it.

--------
I'm looking for "s9xTYLmecmsrc.zip", "test3diffsrc.zip" and "s9xTYLmecmsrc0515.zip" to fix bugs.
If you have them, tell me.

I found it.
Thanks 2chan user

--------
Special Thanks to ruka and 33(76) for his source code.
Sorry for my bad English.

This is NOT mecm.
It doesn't use Media Engine so you can use.
I tested on eCFW ARK. And some Japaneses tested.

yes but it freezes once you config the emulator and save the
configuration file in the styl.ini file games frezes once they are start
you may try it if you want,it has this issue sadly maybe it will get fix
in another rev.

tested on:
super metroid/starts but when it gets to the laboratory it freezes.
street fighter 2 new challengers/does not even pass press start when it freezes
megaman X3/did not even load. (crash emu)
final fantasy 3/starts but frezes once game goes into intro.
in Ark every single one crash the emu.

-----

TN-C has the same issues with the emulator.

all games tested are US.

It's not too bad, but there are a few issues here and there. In all, I think it just needs to be tweaked a bit.

Working:
  • Dragon Warrior I
  • Dragon Warrior II
  • Dragon Warrior V
  • Breath of Fire I
  • Final Fantasy IV
  • Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.
Work with issues:
  • Breath of Fire IV - INCREDIBLY slow
  • Dragon Warrior VI - Main menu doesn't appear, but works after
  • Final Fantasy V - Incredibly slow and has graphical issues
  • Final Fantasy VI - Half the screen doesn't appear
Crashes/Black Screen:
  • Chrono Trigger

I fixed some bugs and added some futures.
I'll release mod as "Snes9xTYLmecm(/cm) 0.4.2 Mod."

Could you upload the original source code (with me enabled) again? The download link is not working for me and I can't find it anywhere else.

EDIT: I just found out that the link is indeed working... :D

Hi,

I am just wondering what the point of this project is. How is this different from snes9xTYL 0.4.2 which is the version of the snes emulator without mecm support? Doesn't taking the mecm support from this version make it the same thing as version 0.4.2? Are there any differences in the speed of the emulation?
