same here, Patapon 3 results in black screen on uno exploit along with Monster Hunter Portable 3rd :-( 2 of my favorite PSP games. So far those are the only two that i've come across to result in black screen (i've tried at least 3 different "clean" versions of each now) :-( I hope we stumble upon a fix for these because they make a great addition to any game library :-)

same, it worked with 1.81 GC TN-B/TN-C. Compatibility is pretty bad with this one.

Also can anyone get nploader working? I couldn't.
hmmm, since this is the new TN-C, pretty much explains of the compatibility and as for nploader, probably that is it
Hi All,

I got a japanese language psp game (SolTrigger) which has been translated into chinese language. And it can't be run in UNO exploit (as mentioned in the title, it goes totally black screen), then there is solution out there to resolve the problem.

http://kuai.xunlei.com/d/VXHKNXMZGMXV

This is the link for the ISO Tool download.

The source (Sorry, this is a chinese web site): http://bbs.duowan.com/forum.php?mod=vie ... ISO%2BTOOL

I just copy the extracted folder into psp\game folder of your psp. Run the ISO tool, choose the 05 of prometheus patch. Then, I finally can enjoy this translated Japanese game.

Hopefully, this can solve your patapon 3 black screen problem.

I'm tempted to try this but hesitant due to the fact that I have no idea what it does and Chrome can't translate the 2 pages for whatever reason. Can someone (prefereably who can read the source) confirm what these files do?

Ok, but firstly, please excuse my bad english.

1. The link http://kuai.xunlei.com/d/VXHKNXMZGMXV will lead you to a page with 2 image buttons -- one blue button with chinese words 普通下载 (it means download in normal speed). And please forget about the orange button with some animation on it (it is the high speed download, but you must register as a member. The file size is only 7960kb, i believe it won't hurt anything if using the normal download button).

2. After you click this blue button, you should be getting IT.zip

3. Then extract this zip file

4. In the zip file you'll be having psp\game\iso_tool folder

5. Use duck ftp (sorry, i forgot where to get this one) on psv and copy the iso_tool folder into psp\game in your psv.

6. After the ftp, you should be able to find the iso tool 1.975 icon in your exploit menu.

7. Patch the game with 05 prometheus.

FYI, i just tested the SD Gundam Over World (Chinese translated version) which is also having black screen issue, and it just works fine.

ah, ok, but I was under the impression that patched games were incompatible with the uno exploit. I'll give it a shot, i've got everything backed up anyhow if things go wrong lol, i'll test it on patapon 3 and monster hunter portable 3rd

I'm sorry Victor, but after patching the iso's and numerous attempts using the 2 drivers and cpu speeds, neither games worked :-( but thank you for the suggestion, it was worth a shot. I'm happy you got your games to work though, better 1 than none right? hehe

OK Guys

YOU NEED CLEAN ISOS

Either get a fresh rip from a UMD (i believe a hacked PSP can backup games) or remove the Prometheus patches yourself with this handy Guide

http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php? ... -PSP-games

Remember!

For best results and compatibilty

- CLEAN ISOS

No CSO's, No patched

Yes I am aware of that, hence why I said

just thought it would be worth a try. I've used multiple clean copies, and ripped my friend's UMD and still no luck. Other people in other threads have also confirmed that certain games previously playable on 1.81 are not able to play on the uno exploit. This particular thread is only 2 pages long... how many times must people say that they've used clean rips without having to be reminded to do so?
