In the Future you should not do any kind of update if you want CFW whatsoever, you know!
As they say "If it ain't broken don't fix it"
Here is an idea,this could turn out to be dangerous but here goes "Try to deactivate your PS Vita via this link and then reactivate it again.
You will be doing this from a pc. Don't blame me if this doesn't do the trick or make things even worse!
Let me know if the idea is to scary or if you dared, and it did the trick.

actually, i solved the problem, many others didn't..
beside to deactivate the device wont help anything. problem is within wi-fi in fw 2.01

as i said, it's not because of luck, it's because the fw it's bugged and sony already knows about. in fact, some users reported that enabling that option solves this issue. this doesn't comes from me, but from customer service. you should roll back to page 1 and read previous posts

many people have had different ways of fixing it so don't give up

the most common way is to do the internet connection test in settings
and let it finish all the way
and then do the test again
