Best SNES emulator?

I'm running 1.81 with the Gravity Crash exploit. I've got a few emulators working thus far (daedalus works great, no sound though...) NES works perfectly, Gameboy (Masterboy to be exact) runs just as well as on my PSP. I have yet to get a SNES emulator to actually work. They either crash when trying to load my ROM list, or the best one I had one of the versions of Euphoria would load the rom, but then started to load the default settings (speedhacks to be exact) and would hang there (I expect the speed hacks, trying to overclock the virtual PSP CPU in the PSP emulator on the Vita is likely to cause such problems, lol). Any ideas on what I can do to fix these issues? What Emulators have you guys found that work the best?

It may be choking on a specific ROM. I'd pare down the ROM list to a single ROM (preferably something popular) and seeing what that gets you. The version of SNES9X that JonathanH linked to is the correct one for TN.

I tried paring down my roms list, and it'll load the list now, but when I tried to start Super Mario World, it's just hanging at loading the settings.

i had this same problem, too many roms will make that happen...what i did to fix it was make individual folders with about 50-100 roms in each folder like this:

A-D
E-G
H-K
L-N
and so on...

i have about 900 roms total in my snes emulator and havent had any problems since i separated them...i also had to do this with all my other emu's when the same problems occurred, but it was always the same fix...id say i have about 5000+ roms total over 5 different emu's on my Vita...if i didnt have the same thing on my GO, i probably wouldnt update to 2.0, cuz its just fun saying i have that many games on one handheld console (even though i wont EVER get around to playing all of them). xD

Got it running, then my gf's 2 year old managed to factory reset and wipe the vita. Now it's updated to 2.0, here's hoping that they release an exploit soon.

At least now I know all the tricks to get things working, and maybe next time I can get audio working on the 64.
