so if you have a Vita on 1.61 then yes you can get one of the other 2 games
(afaik both Motorstorm and Tennis are not on the US PSN)

...and if you're on FW 1.67 you have to wait till sony put SC3 back to the PSN (don't know if it ever happens)

...If you're on FW 1.69, then you have to wait till a new Exploit gets released (this wouldn't happen before Sony releases the 1.80 FW)

Otherwise you can search your own Exploit and port the VHBL to it (If its possible :) ) Wololo posted a lot of Tutorials how you can find an exploit and see if it's useable. But you'll need a PSP with a CFW and PSP-Link on you Computer.

2. http://wololo.net/2010/09/14/port-hbl-t ... e-exploit/

How to Install PSPLink: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=9753

And also usable if you really want to learn something about different exploits :)

Just a quick question from a newbie. I just got my Vita a few days ago so it's still on 1.06. If I'm reading this correctly, I can transfer Motorstorm from say the Australian PSN store via the PS3 onto my Vita and use VHBL? Could anyone confirm this/provide information on the steps needed to do this? Much appreciated :).

Is the update to 1.61 required?

Below the FW 1.50 you can't conect your Vita to Sony's CMA (or better said OpenCMA) to copy the needed files to the Vita ;)

So you have to be on a FW between 1.50 - 1.61

With the PS3 Trick you are just able to get Motorstorm AE or Everybody's Tennis. The games just exploitable till FW 1.61. On the FW 1.67 they have pached the exploit.

So it's good to be on the latest FW where the exploit would work and this is FW 1.61 ;)

After following your guide, I get the error c3-10698-4 when checking for updates. Have you encountered this?
EDIT: fixed. For future reference, the region ID I had was incorrect. Also, I managed to get the update xml from OpenCMA without needing >1.50 firmware.
EDIT2: now I get C0-8976-0 after confirming the update... unsure how to fix :S

After some fiddling around, I managed to get it to 1.61 using Charles' Map to Local feature :D. Thanks for your help.
