Today a patch to the Escape Plan came out, i want to know if is there any way to use SKFU to block any update and DL the patch for the game, because if i update OFW i lose my precious VHBL on my everybody tennis...

Thanks in advance to everyone's effort and dedication to PSVITA Homebrews

sure just use SKFU's proxy or Charles proxy to have a fake xml and get the game's update without any fw update

Many thanks i'll give it a try later, i hope to do it right with the SKFU vita proxy, because i'm a total noob  ....heeeeere goes nothing hahaha.

PS: The DL links were removed for the SKFU vita proxy, is there any way to DL the file?

I tried many times to make Vita Pr0xy works to no avail..

BUT ! It worked with Charles ! Thanks to technodon on PS3News (http://www.ps3news.com/forums/psp-ps-vi ... post410295) !
The only thing I changed was when you have to create a box named var : instead of the 01610000 value, just type 01660000 and that's it !

That works for the PSS and only for that, I tried using Treasures of Montezuma but it won't connect to the PSN. :(

I can confirm this method still works as of the 1.67 update to switch from my USA PSN account to my EU PSN account to log in and activate games. Just switched the query string from 01610000 to 01670000 and used local mapping to the xml file they provide.

I don't even need to change the query strings, it is still on 01660000 and it works fine on the PSN Store. :)

That's because it is currently not a compulsory update, but it will be soon, so no reason not to update your string values to the latest. Its safer that way.

Thanks to an idea from "mp1" ...
Here is my easy steps to PSV store.

1) Set up PSV to connect via proxy
(All this does is block the Inet connection till it is needed)

2) Turn off PSV

3) Start OpenCMA on PC

4) Start PSV, Start ContentManager and connect to the OpenCMA
(This gets the fake Updatelist.xml from OpenCMA)

5) Start SKFU's Proxy on the PC
(Dont use any advanced options/string replacements)
(This is just to enable internet connection, no other reason i can see)

6) Start PSV Store and BLAM! works for me.
(1.61 here using - tested today when 1.67 is alive)

Thanks again

1. Turn off PSV
2. Disconnect your computer from the internet (disable wifi)
3. Turn on the PSV and connect to OpenCMA
4. Open CMA on the PSV and connect to the computer. (It will get the updatelist.xml file from OpenCMA and won't need to check for it again for a while)
5. Start SKFU Proxy and connect/re-enable your computer's internet.
6. Open PSN and do what you do!

This is all assuming you have set up your Vita to use the proxy. No settings need adjusting on SKFU; keep it as it appears upon fresh install. If you have settings in there from prior tinkering, erase them and save settings with everything blank.

The trick is the updatelist.xml.
