As far as file hosting goes, if you have a SourceForge account, you also get free web hosting for your projects too, so you can use that. BitBucket and GitHub offer similar services too. Haven't used GitHub much (since I prefer mercurial to git), and BitBucket only offers static website hosting (as in, no fancy server-side stuff like databases or php), but in all cases, you can host stuff there. Also, you can host your code there, and use a version control system (like subversion/mercurial/git, up to you) to sync it, which can really be handy.
